There are two prominent contenders within the Lithium battery chemistries, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) and Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) LFP Batteries are renowned for their superior safety and thermal stability, making them ideal for applications prioritizing durability. While NMC Batteries offer respectable safety and cycle life, their higher energy density caters to compact designs in portable electronics, albeit with environmental and cost considerations. The great news is that all our brand partners use Automotive grade Lithium Iron Phosphate, meaning, we use the very highest grade, the same as what is used in the automotive industry, with higher production standards, higher testing standards, high product quality and safety. There are some manufacturers still using NMC however in the material handling industry, manufacturers like BYD, Linde, Still, MiMA, Hifoune and Hyundai have all moved to LFP.

These batteries have enhanced safety characteristics and do not explode under extreme conditions. LiFePO4 batteries eliminate the concerns of cobalt entering the environment through improper disposal once they have expired.
- Safety Features: Look for batteries with built-in safety features such as overcharge protection, thermal management systems, and short-circuit prevention to ensure safe operation in various conditions. Our products contain Intelligent Battery Management systems with protection functions such as low battery power, short circuit, over charge and high temperature protections. Our batteries can also support CAN, RS485, RS232 and other communication protocols through telematics recording and communication.
- Charging Requirements: Consider the charging capabilities and requirements of the battery, including charging time, voltage, and compatibility with charging infrastructure. Faster charging rates and compatibility with standard charging protocols can enhance convenience and efficiency. Our batteries provide 0.5C-1C fast charging rate, this is the fastest, 2 hours and can be fully charged. The lithium battery has no memory effect, can be charged and discharged optionally, no need to discharge first and then charge, providing ultimate efficiency.

Some batteries may perform better or require additional cooling measures in extreme temperatures. Our batteries can perform in environments from -20°C-50°C , an they charge in environments from 0°C-50°C. This gives us excellent performance from severe cold to intense heat.
